So the second day I went to Kyoto was a Sunday. Big mistake -- the palace is closed! Oops. Oh well, I just had to make due with what I had. So here's a few pictures of the palace. I felt bad, but not for long since that hotel worker from my hotel in Tokyo said the real highlight with castles/palaces was
Nijo Castle.
