Singapore Day 2: Civic District

After finishing up with the Temples on Waterloo Street I continued on to see the Civic District.

An ad on a bus to join the Air Force. Look at the name tag: TJ Johson. Why does this guy who looks like he's of an Indian ethnic background have the last name Johnson?

Raffles hotel is famous for its luxurious accomodations and restaurants. It was built in 1887 and named after the founder of Singapore, Sir Stamford Raffles.
